ABOUT THE EXUMAS
Exuma, Bahamas; what a magnificent sight! The Exuma’s form a chain of 365 islands stretching lazily across the Tropic of Cancer about 300 miles southeast of the coastal United States. Since they were first settled by the British in the 17th century, the Exuma islands have been fabled for their pristine beauty and, thanks to the Gulf Stream, their idyllic climate.

Great Exuma Island is the largest of the Exuma Islands and its port city of George Town is the capital of the Island chain. George Town is home to an international airport that is just 40 minutes from Nassau and only about an hours flight time from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale.

The Exuma's, part of the Family Islands, have time and again been recognized for their mesmerizing blue waters, unspoiled beaches and ideal location for diving, bone fishing, sailing and cruising.

In recent years the Exuma’s have seen explosive growth and interest from corporate and private investors who have built world-class resort destinations and spectacular vacation homes throughout this jeweled string of islands.
